I thought Heath had pretty much decided the name he wanted for our boy, Luke. At least that's what he's been telling people since the day we learned it was a boy. But we are again reconsidering the name.
Yesterday we went to the Mesker Zoo in Evansville, Indiana. While there, we heard a mother calling for her son, Will. And that reminded us that we had the name William as one of our favs but dropped it for no reason. SO! Will is back on the table.
It's definitely narrowed down to Luke, William, and Ethan. I think Heath likes Mason, but not enough to name his first child that. So I hope no one has started monogramming anything or making scrapbook pages with a name on it. I think we are going to 'table' the discussion for names until closer to the due date.
Mom has got Heath worried that the boy will have red hair and big ears (like my dad) and he just can't put a name to that yet.
In more exciting news, Heath was able to feel the baby move for the first time! He was tired of watching me with my hands on my belly and smiling so he put his head on my belly and just rested for a couple of minutes. He says he heard a lot of sloshing around in the belly, whether it was my stomach or the baby, who knows! But eventually the baby moved and he felt it on his cheek. He was so excited!!!
He's really struggled with the idea that I have been able to feel him and bond with him and he has not. I think he's just jealous! I'm just glad that he was able to feel our child move. This whole experience is quite amazing and God is awesome for creating it!
Andrea - Looking forward to your baby shower tomorrow and seeing all of your family. Nancy
