These are just a few more pics of Luke Aaron. We had a doctor's appt today with an excellent report. We had our first visit last Friday and we were a little worried because he lost a little too much weight. He was 8 lbs 6 oz when he was born and at his appt he was 7 lbs 8 oz. We were set to meet with the lactation consultant to see what the problem was-Luke not latching, me not producing enough milk, etc.
As soon as we arrived and meet with the LC, the first thing we did was weigh him-he gained 6 oz! The LC said the goal was an ounce a day and Luke exceeded the goal! He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz! Papaw Terry predicts he will be a heavy-weight!
Our next appt is Dec. 30 and the LC expects Luke to exceed his birthweight and then some. We are so thankful and blessed to have such a great report.
